NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL DOOR-TO-DOOR ROAD MOVES

The door-to-door move is a complete service in which EnjoyTraslochi takes care of your goods from the beginning to the end.

Otherwise we can provide:

• Full origin service to free-on-your truck; 

• Full destination service from free-on-your truck;

• Additional import/export customs clearance in case of extra EU moves.

 

SEA INBOUND & OUTBOUND

• full origin service from door to destination port of entry, also including export customs clearance and sea freight;

• full destination service from Italian port of entry to door, also including import customs clearance on duty free basis.

 

AIR INBOUND & OUTBOUND

• Full origin service from door to destination airport of entry, also including export customs clearance and air freight;

• Full destination service from Italian airport of entry to door, also including import customs clearance on duty free basis.

OUR KIND OF SERVICE

PHYSICAL OR VIRTUAL PRE-MOVE SURVEY

Firstly, the volume of the goods to be moved is estimated so to prepare packing materials, personnel and vehicles to be used accordingly.

In addition, all eventual problems related to origin and destination accesses are evaluated in advance (e.g. LTZ, parking permit and reservation, traffic diversion, etc.).

This can basically happen in two ways: 

1. By physical survey performed by our skillful representative who is expert in the field (recommended); 

2. By sending a detailed list of the goods to be moved, possibly accompanied by photos and by measures of those items which might require special care (e.g. chandeliers, pictures, statues, marble or glass tops, pianos, etc.).

 

 

PACKING AND INVENTORY LIST

Our service usually provides full packing of previously dismantled furniture, furnishing accessories and personal effects: a special care is dedicated to fragile objects which can also be protected with special packing materials (e.g. wooden cases or cages, polystyrene chips, polyurethane foam, etc.).

We only use quality packing materials which are properly made to minimize the risk of damage due to handlings which take place during the different stages of the move. 

Before loading, each item is numbered and listed in order to have an effective confirmation of what has been moved.

 

LOADING AND TRANSPORTATION 

Once loading has been completed, based on the kind of the access (e.g. through the staircase, by using an internal lift or by placing an external elevator, by shuttle service, etc.), the transport will be made using appropriate vehicles, keeping into account the destination access and road conditions. 

The interior of the boots of all our vehicles is covered with wooden panels and has a lot of hooks in order to avoid unwanted movements during transport. 

 

UNLOADING, UNPACKING AND SET-UP

Usually the final step of the move is the most complicated, because it has to be decided where everything must be unloaded, placed, unpacked and reassembled: everything will be made by our specialized personnel who is also accustomed to operating in absence of the customer.

At the end of the move we will collect the empty boxes and the other used packing materials and we will dispose of it.

 

STORAGE

We have a large warehouse unit located in the Milan area where to store goods in total safety for as long as necessary.

 

 

 

ADDITIONAL SERVICES

Under specific request our personnel can also provide the followings:

• Restoration of the initial conditions of an apartment or office (disassembly and removal of infrastructures, removal and installation of various types of flooring, masonry, painting): instructions will be followed in order to restore the premises to their original conditions;

• Furniture adaptation;

• Light installation;

• Household appliances connection;

• Simple porterage;

• Separate recycling, landfill transport and certified disposal.
